In the morning my mind is ready to start the day but my body is tired.
During the day, my mind wants nothing more than to take a nap, relax, do nothing. While my body is awake, alert and ready for anything.
At night my mind gets over the lull of the day and springs into action, wanting to take the night by storm and do everything it’s thinking of. Plans are made, schedules are set, ideas are fully formed.
All my body wants to do is sleep. It’s worn out, beat up and mistreated by my mind.
Someday both will turn a page, and it be the same. Till then, hello 4am. Nice to meet ya.
